>18mo checkup

>Yesterday, Conner had his 18mo checkup. He weighs 20lbs 9oz; which means that in 3 mos, he has only gained one pound. He is 31.5 in long. He's very tiny. They asked me lots of questions...can he run, does he throw overhead, does he kick a ball, can he say 5-10 words, does he use a spoon...the answer to all of those is yes. He's very, very active. He did not like when the dr "poked" at him. His iron level is 10.8; they like 11 so he's back on the iron supplements. The pediatrician also gave me some samples of Pediasure and he needs to drink 2 cups of the pediasure per day, one cup of milk and then juice/water. He drank almost 2 cups of the pediasure yesterday. I honestly that that he's OK just small.

I am suppose to go for an appt. this month for madisons words. She says around 12, but for some reason they seemed to think she was behind. They give out free books at dr appts, so that is a plus :) Kelly

  2. >Every doctor is so different. And every kid is so different. Does C like the taste of the Pedisure? Kelly are you counting animal sounds? Because they count too. How many words are they supposed to say at her age?
