5 top NEWBORN items. I have been thinking of the must haves for a brand new baby and besides diapers and butt paste and wipes (lots of them) I decided I needed a newborn refresher.
1. Aden + Anais Muslin Swaddle Blankets; I LOVE these things. Not only are they soft and snuggly and organic but they can be used as burp clothes diapers (if you get desperate) and they swaddle great!
2. Mylicon. do I need to explain this one? babies get gas, sometimes it's really painful.
3. Zip up sleepers. I don't know about you but my brain does not do buttons in the middle of the night. I tried gowns but these were my fav! I could nurse, change a diaper and zip up all in my sleep.
4. Bouncy Seat. This thing saved me many, many times. I could shower, go play outside w/Conner while Parker slept, cook. it vibrated and kept my babies happy.
5. Moby Wrap. When I just had one baby, I didn't' need to wear him. I could sit and stare at him and just hold him all.day.long and I did. When I had 2 babies and that second one wanted to be held...the Moby saved me. I could vacuum, fix C lunch, play with Conner (somewhat), put makeup on, go to the grocery store..and still have 2 hands. Brilliant! In fact, I'm really excited to be able to wear this next baby.
