We all won

I have had really good intentions when it comes to portraits of my children but they have ended with intentions. Yesterday, I decided why not! I took the baby into the backyard (where the light is always gorgeous in the evening) and attempted a quick session. The big kids were in my space and I finally gave in to them, but I won (I got a photo of all 3 o them).

It's so very hard to believe that this baby is already 6 months old. The babyhood times goes by in the blink of an eye. I miss that teeny tiny baby that I brought home from the hospital but I'm enjoying this sweet, energetic, baby. He wants to keep up with his brothers and doesn't sit still; not even to eat. He weighs 16lbs 9oz and is 26 in long. He's growing very well and is ahead of 6m milestones. The pediatrician was very pleased with him and we are all smitten with this cute baby. I still, 6mo later, can not get over his hair! **yes these are watermarked, they are going on my pro blog too**

Busted...

I'm not really sure who was busted...me or them.

Sometimes, it's OK for them to play in the sink... this is also my 52w photos for week 14.

Playing Catch Up

I have been MIA this week...sort of. I feel like I have been. I didn't do So What Wed (sorry, Shan) but I did update about my appt, which feels like it was LAST week and not Monday. Anyway, I have been SO busy and if you're a FB fan then you have seen everything I've been posting this week. I am very thankful for my clients but they are keeping me from my personal blog! HAHA!

On Sunday, I had a session and then met Josh and the boys at my MILs house. The word on the street was that we were going to go to the pumpkin patch 'or something'. Turns out the 'or something' was just playing w/the horses. Parker was a hott mess by the time I got there so he took a nap. Conner is starting to enjoy 'riding' the horses. They only walk w/him on there b/c I think I'd have a heart attack if one of them took off and the horse is led on a lead line. He's super cute in his helmet though.

We also got back some of our family pictures. I won't lie to you. I don't like the one of me w/the boys but I like the others and we got the gallery back and there is one that I love w/me and them so it works out. I just have to narrow it down to 5 images.

I LOVE this one and it will be BIG somewhere.

 

Pumpkin Patch

We met some friends at the pumpkin patch on Tuesday. While it was fun, I realized just how out of control my kids are. They act like they are kept cooped up and when they are 'released' they go nuts. I mean, running constantly, jumping like bunnies and just being insane. You can add not listening to that. Conner does better than Parker but it's hard on me. I have decided that I'm buying an umbrella stroller (and not a cheap-y one but not a 150+ one either) and I'm going to start using it to confine them when they don't listen. The new baby will need to like one too so it's a win, win. Anyway, I did snap a few photos and one of the friends we met is another photographer and snapped some too.

Here are my crazy boys. I didn't even bother editing all of them :) It was fun and everyone was happy and stayed that way.

Weekend News

How was your weekend? Ours was fun and busy! I had several different shoots, some w/new clients and others with long time clients. I love seeing old ones and meeting new ones. Conner had soccer on Saturday morning and Josh was not working, yay! After soccer, we just went home and the kids played outside until I left for my shoot. Nothing spectacular. After my shoot we had hot wings and watched football. Sunday, I got up early, headed out to photograph another photographer (HUGE compliment) and then headed home. I had a few hours between shoots so we decided we'd take the kids to a local dairy farm. It was really windy but we just threw on hoodies and went on with our plans.The kids had a great time, so did the adults :)

Weekend

We had a pretty busy weekend but Josh and the kids did one thing and I did another. Josh took the boys to the monster truck show and I had the privilege of second shooting a gorgeous wedding. The boys were still awake when I got home at midnight. Seriously...mama was not happy. Yesterday, I spent the day recovering (haha) and the kids played outside. The wedding was stunning. I have uploaded all of the images but haven't gone through them and started culling (throwing away the trash). It was super fun and I shot w/an amazing photographer. She was laid back and very easy to work with/for. I'd to it again in a heartbeat!

I have been getting a lot of headaches lately and I have no idea what to do about them. I went to the chiropractor on Saturday for an adjustment and that seemed to help a little bit. I did get another migraine during the wedding. I'm going to mention it to my ob on Thursday. Hopefully, she will have some suggestions. I had headaches at the end of my pregnancy with Parker but nothing like this. These are killer.

The boys are doing great and went back to school after a relaxing week off. I think they both enjoyed themselves today and I know I enjoyed it too :)I have no other photos from this weekend. My camera was tired (and I was too).
