>Weekend News...a day early

>How unusual of me...a day early! wow! Let me explain; it's raining, we are all inside just hanging out and dealing with allergies. Spring time in Atlanta usually means stuffy noses and just ick. So here we sit in our ick. Conner is on Zyrtec and Josh and I are taking Claritin. I told him to get something stronger for himself but he insisted that he'd take what I'm taking.

Yesterday was absoutely gorgeous here. After Conner's nap, we went outside to play. He absoutely loves his little playground and I love that he loves it. I left him w/Josh to go to a few photoshoots. When I got home, I was in for a surprise. Josh told me to open the gate and when I did...Conner had BLOOD all over his face. I almost puked right there. Now, he's been hurt and bleeding before but this was a lot and it was bright red. Not to mention, it was
not what I was expecting to see. Want the story? Conner was playing with his little playground and it has a door on one part...well, he smacked himself in the nose with the door and gave himself a bloody nose. He was (and is) totally fine. Josh said he didn't even cry! What a tough cookie.

Today marks 23w; I made sure to take some pictures.

One coverd and one bare belly.

>Clownish?

>Does this look clownish to you?

that is all.

ETA: I don't think it's childish...someone (no names mentioned) said it was. I bought this for baby #2.

>weekend news

>This weekend, we started looking at furniture for baby #2 and have no clue what we want. I guess this time it will be harder to decide what to get. For Conner, I loved what I loved and I still love that stuff. Josh said I can't get matching furniture for this one, even if it is a different color. So, I'm stuck! haha!

I did have 2 photoshoots on Saturday, so Josh and Conner were on their own.

Here's my 21w belly

>Oh Boy!!!

>Today we had another ultrasound and Conner is going to have a BROTHER! Josh and I are over the moon excited. I have had a few dreams, 3 to be exact, they all said boy. All of the dreams were in the ultrasound environment. When the technician said that it was a boy, Josh said, "Is it really?". I think he was pretty shocked. The baby looks great BUT my fluids are low and I've been advised to drink TONS of water. The OB said the water would also hlep w/the contractions I've been having. I go back on 4w for another u/s to check the fluid levels. Evidently, they need to go WAY up or they will put my butt in the hospital for an IV.

Here's baby boy!

>Halfway!

>How is it that half of this pregnancy has gone by? Craziness. I don't have any problems with being sick during pregnancy and for that I'm thankful. I am not happy about the contractions I get a few times a week and NO they are not braxton hicks contractions. They are the real ones. I really hope that they aren't indicative of any future bedrest. I can't be on bedrest w/a toddler. It's just not possible for me. I do rest when I can and I stay hydrated. I noticed that the contractions are worse on days when I'm really busy or days when I exercise. I have an appt and ultrasound on Wed so I'm going to be sure to mention it then.

>Yummy, Applesauce

>I have been dying for some brownies for a few days so I decided today was the day I gave it. I realized that I did not have enough oil for the brownies but remembered that I did have some 4oz jars of applesauce. When Conner saw the applesauce, he flipped out. Luckily for Conner, I had more than one. I asked him to sit on the floor and gave him the container and a spoon. Conner uses forks and spoons during meal time but he usually throws them down and just uses his hands. I guess he figures that his hands are faster than any utensil. He fed himself that entire 4oz container. He's just growing up so fast and I'm so proud.

>Busy, Busy

>We've been super busy lately. The weather was great over the weekend and we played outside, went to the park. It almost felt like Spring was coming...until yesterday. We got SNOW. Yes, snow in March in Atlanta. We got about 3 inches. It's already melting (yay) and the temps are supposed to go back up to the high 50s by the weekend.

Saturday, Josh didn't work but my mom was in town, so we hung out w/her for a while before my brother stole her again she went back to my brother's place. Josh went to look at a truck (that I knew he wouldn't buy). We ha dinner at my ILs on Saturday. It's not my favorite place to go b/c they just don't honor any of my parenting wishes. It's a frustrating and stressful time for me when I am there. BUT we go, they are Conner's grandparents.

Sunday, I had a photoshoot (the sneak peek is on my photography blog). The baby is 4mos old and so cute and tiny. She reminded me of Conner when he was that age; so little and wiggly. I had a great time there and get this...Conner slept for 2.5 hours for his dad! For real, dude? I sure wish he'd give me a good nap like that. Hahah!!! When I got home, I fed C some lunch (I have to record him saying hot dog b/c it's hilarious) and then we went to BJs. Josh knows that when I'm pregnant I crave beef; he made sure to pick up a huge thing of ground beef and made the most delicious burgers. YUM. I wish we still had some!

here are some outside pics
