>32 weeks

>Yesterday marked the 32 week mark...that's 8 months! how crazy! We have had a pretty relaxing, low key weekend. Josh has been HOME this weekend and I love it. Conner loves when his Daddy is home too. Saturday we (well, Josh) worked in the yard; he planted a few new trees and just cleaned it up. It looks great. My mom and Katie are here for the long weekend and they came by Saturday afternoon. I convinced them to help me put some of the furniture together (pics to come) but it's not all finished. Maybe today we'll get the rest done. Saturday night Conner actually SLEPT but don't worry he was his normal "up every 2 hours" self last night. Yesterday, we went out to breakfast, ran some errands and just hung out. Mom and Katie came over again last night for dinner. Conner sure loves the attention! I'm not sure what we will do today; it's rainy but I think we're going to get out of the house for a while.

Here's my 32w belly. This dress doesn't show much but it is what I was wearing. I apologize in advance.

>Ice Cream

>It has been so, so hot here. Maybe it just feels hotter because of the extra baby pounds but either way, it's hot. Today, I decided that Conner and I needed to go to Brusters for an ice cream cone. I thought that it would be a sure fire way to cool right off. It did cool us off but just as soon as we were handed the cones, the ice cream started melting. This wasn't C's first ice cream cone but he still wasn't too sure of it. There were a few birds around and he definitely preferred watching them over licking an ice cream cone. He's his father's child because his mother...well, I LOVE ice cream! I've eaten more ice cream this pregnancy than I typically do in a year...and I wonder why I've gained 20lbs! haha!!

what a cute ice cream cone

Just a little taste...

He liked picking the sprinkles off

now a lick

I don't know what he was really thinking here!

In other news, I have PUPP. It's a horrible rash that you get only during pregnancy and during the 3rd trimester. If it were just ugly, I could deal with that but it itches like crazy! It started just on my tummy, now it's spreading to one of my boobs, my arm and even my FACE. Do you want to know how to get rid of it? Deliver the baby but it's not harmful to me or him so I wait.

>Silly Run

>Conner has started this new type of running. I think he wants to start a trend with it. Either way, it's HILARIOUS! We just call it his "silly run" and he does this run all.the.time. If he gets excited he really flings his arm around and kicks his legs up. It's raining again so the silly run is being demonstrated indoors.

>9 to go...

>Nine more weeks until my due date. It is sneaking up on me a little faster than I am prepeared for though. Yesterday, I started putting together the baby's furniture but Conner doesn't nap long enough for me to complete a full task so it's partially put together and today, I'm tired. I'm not going to work on it at all. It's really hot here and hot+pregnant=misreable. Thankfully, Conner gets too hot and tells me he wants to go in. Josh had yesterday off and we really didn't do too much. We took Conner to Dupree Park to feed the ducks; which he LOVES, we ran some errands and then came home. We bought a few new trees yesterday so Josh HAD to get them in the ground the minute we got back. The joys of being married to a work-a-holic. haha! This morning, we played at the park. Like I said, it's hot so Conner wasn't into playing for too long. Josh is out for a motorcycle ride right now and the baby is sleeping so I'm enjoying the sound of the ac and celiling fans humming. My belly has definitely GROWN a lot this past week and by the end of the day, I'm becoming uncomfortable. I'm starting to have trouble sleeping, which sucks because Conner isn't sleeping more than 4 hours on a regular basis. Some nights I feel like I don't sleep at all. My legs and feet are also starting to hurt and sometimes, my back too. Thank God I only have 9 more weeks!

>Three years

>It's very hard to believe it's only been three years since Josh and I got married. We've been together for almost 10 so 3 really seems like nothing! haha! But at the same time, it seems like we JUST got married, like yesterday. Funny how that works.

Happy Anniversary, my love. I hope we have many, many more.

>30 week appt

>Yesterday, I had my 30w appt. Let's do good first...baby is head DOWN. yay! I've gained 19lbs (eek), my ob told me that I'm really skinny (it made me like her even more).

we talked about my contractions. I told her that I've been having more than I care to admit. She told me that we could do one of 2 things today...FFN or a cervical check ulrtasound. We chose the ultrasound. Baby boy is still a boy, phew! She said she wanted my cervical length to be 3.5; then she said that if it was above 3 she would be ok. So, I'm not sure if it needed to be 3.5 or what...it was measuring 3.4 but I didn't get to speak to her again before I left. They were really backed up so the nurses shoo'd me out (which kind of ticked me off b/c I have questions). They said if she needed to talk to me she'd call. She did say NO MORE EXERCISE. She said pushing Conner in the stroller for exercise is just way too much, especially b/c of the contractions. I haven't been walking b/c the contractions freak me out so we're good there. I explained that bedrest would be difficult for me (C was there so she had living proof), she didn't argue with that. In a nutshell, I don't know reall what's going on. I go back in 2 weeks.

>Weekend news

>We had such a great weekend! Saturday, Josh worked but only a half day (fabulous!), which never happens. When he got home, Conner was napping so we hung out and watched stupid tv but it was us so it was good. Josh decided that Saturday would be a good day for him to paint the baby's room. YAY! I was not arguing with that at all. He didn't think it was going to take him very long but due to the amount of trim in that room it took him over 4 hours. Poor guy. In the end it looks great! Now, I can't wait to get all of the furniture, mattress and necessary accessories (changing pad, cover, diapers...) in there and play with how I want it. What do you think of the walls? those curtains are not staying.

Today, I am 30w pregnant! How did that happen? It was FAST, that's all I know. Today was a great day! We played outside, got everything out of the baby's room (which is why it's EMPTY!), put up the bird feeder, I vacuumed out my car (which was gross b/c I have a toddler that lovest to throw his food onto the floor), had a family trip to the grocery store, grilled out, and were just us. In the midst of all of that, Josh looked at me and told me that at THAT moment, he was living the good life. He had the outdoor stero on, we were relaxing watching Conner play and just hanging out. It was great! It's been such a long time since we have been able to just be. If I said that I didn't enjoy it, I'd be lying! Conner is saying all sorts of phrases and I'm so excited about it. He says, "I got it", "I want one", "I got mom", "I want Dad". It's adorable!!! He's getting so silly.

I know everyone is waiting for a belly photo. It's coming. First, I want to just let everyone know that after Tuesday I have only had random contractions; even on days like today when I've been super busy. Yes, I'm tired and I'm getting achey (my legs and feet are starting to hurt) but overall, I feel great! I am starting to slow down and that's OK. It just takes me a few more seconds to get up LOL. You should see Conner fuss at me when I don't go fast enough. He's is one impatient little booger! We're working on being patient and waiting nicely.

>Just for fun

>I realize that I didn't put up a 29w picture but really, did I need to? You all saw me in a bikini. But I was going through my photobucket and wanted to see the difference in Conner's pregnancy and this one. The only real difference I notice is lower (maybe a little smaller).

This is 29w pregnant w/Conner.

This is 29w pregnant w/baby no name(don't ask we just don't have a name and it's OK).

>A&D ointment

>A&D ointment is awesome stuff. It's great for any kind of boo boo, diaper rash, really dry skin. BUT, did you also know that it's a great styling product? Seriously, it barely washes out so your "style" will last a while! You know, this is just something I learned from my 18month old today. He definitely knows how to make his mama smile.

In other news, I've spent most of the day on the couch with my water bottle. I even resorted to taking a long, hot bath during Conner's nap. I am not enjoying these contractions at all. I hope that with some rest, water and tylenol, I can keep this baby an inside baby for at least 7 more weeks. I keep telling him that I DO want to meet him but I don't want to leave him in the NICU and that we WILL save some fun for him too. Maybe he will listen. He just needs to make it so that when he is born, he's ready to come home too. I think it would kill me to leave him there. Well, it wouldn't really kill me but I sure would hate it.
