>A boy and his dog

>If you don't already know, Conner and Harley love one another. If we go outside and the other isn't with us, it's not pretty. Conner LOVES to watch Harley run around in circles and I honestly think the only reason Harley runs in those circles is to make Conner laugh. It's a vicious cycle and I love to watch it.

Today, we went out to play and Harley was outside. He was in the back yard and we were in the front. Immediately, I heard whining and Conner took off! He headed straight for the gate.

Off to the gate

What's under there?

I think it's Harley

Oh look at that dog!

>A boy and his dog

>As much as I complain about Harley, we totally love him. He's great amazing with Conner. Conner climbs on him. He pulls his mouth, pulls his hair and treats his ears like they are detached from his head. Conner laughs and laughs and laughs. It's the cutest thing ever. I'm very thankful for a patient laid back dog, even if he does run away (I had to CHASE him today while C was napping).

>Dear Harley

>
Harley, Harley, Harley...

You are a pain in the ass bad dog. Really. You are. I don't understand why you think that every time you go into the back yard you need to haul ass. You do this every.single.day. It's not fun for Conner and I. We don't like having to chase you through the neighborhood. We don't like being embarrassed because you always run away. I don't like wondering if you'll come back or if I'll be able to find you. It's frustrating. Really, it is. I know you love the horses, but they will kick you don't like you. You chase them and trust me, they are bigger than you. I know the neighbors are patient but I don't think they like you either. You are a nuisance. You run when you're called. Luckly for YOU, when I call, and have the leash, you come running. You better. You're getting closer and closer to having a new home.

Now, You're not all bad. You're wonderful with Conner. You're very sweet to him and you don't care if he crawls all over you and pulls your ears. For that, I'm thankful. Really, I am.

>Weekend News

>Our weekend was very mellow. Saturday started with breakfast at Family Traditions. Conner loves pancakes so he was pretty happy. We hung around the house and Josh took a spin on his motorcycle. He picked up my laptop from Nathan. I am happy to report that none of my files or pictures are lost. Phew! We grilled out and ate hamburgers Saturday night. We also watched "Confessions of a Shopaholic". What a cute movie! Yesterday, we didn't really do much. After Conner's nap, we went to Brandsmart and got a new hardwood floor vacuum. Josh installed the baby gates (finally). Conner helped Josh put the gates up; that was fun! I guess with him being home for 2 days, he got to see exactly how many times Conner goes up and down the stairs. He's so proud when he gets up to the top though. Now Conner stands at the gates and screams at us. He's not too happy with the fact that he can't get up the stairs or get into the laundry room.

After the gates were installed, Conner thought it was time to play with Harley. It's fun to watch them. They "fight" over the balls. Conner gives it to Harley but Harley doesn't always share with Conner.

My sister is coming for a visit tomorrow. Can't wait to see her! She's never here long enough though. I always cry when she leaves.

Josh and I also made a pretty big decision over the weekend. I'm not going to get into it right now but just keep us in your prayers. We're hoping it's the right one.

What did you do this weekend?
