>Nap or clean...

>Can you guess what I did? NAP. I have mounds of laundry to put away, floors to clean, toys to put away, tubs to scrub and I laid down with my tiny one and I napped. It was amazing.

>Reindeer

>I have decided that I need to do more crafty things with Conner. He loves them, I love them and we have fun. It's also something for just the 2 of us and that's also important. I googled (yes, I'm that kind of teacher, even when I was teaching) to get ideas for something FUN for a toddler. I didn't teach Pre-K or Kindergarten so I was really lost. I found a great site that has lots for preschoolers. I also went to Enchanted Learning. I decided that we'd start it off with a reindeer. I traced Conner's foot and his hands. It tickled a little bit and he wiggled (no pics of that sorry; I was here w/just the kids so...), and then I cut them out. If I had some safety scissors I would have let him try (note to self...buy some). We got out a felt ball, crayons and some glue and sat at his little table. Can I just say that not only was he ADORABLE doing this but he was pretty happy.

He didn't fully understand when I told him to put glue on the foot...and he tried to use his own foot.I guess 2 year olds are really pretty literal!

He did the same thing with the nose.

We certainly had a great time and it made my heart happy.

The project is hanging on the fridge...exactly where it belongs.

>Thankful Thursday

>It's been a LONG time since I've done a TT. I'm ready to do it again and I think I can maintain it every week...well, I'll try.

*I'm thankful for my hubby. The kids and I are so blessed to have him in our lives. He's a great hubby (even when I complain, he's more awesome than awful) and a great Daddy. Conner adores him and now Parker is taken by him too.
*My gorgeous boys. I'm beyond thankful that they are healthy. I look at Parker and I thank God that he has 2 of what he should have 2 of and that his eyes and ears work. He's perfectly created; just like his brother. Conner is thriving (they both are) and I'm thrilled to have perfectly healthy babies.
*Good friends. You know who you are and for you I'm thankful. You get me through rough (think PPD) times and times when I'm angry and just need to vent. You're there when I laugh and when I cry.
*Family. My mom and sister are coming for a visit this weekend and I could not be more excited!
*A warm home and food on our table.

What are you thankful for?

>So What Wednesday

>Photobucket

So what if...
*I give Conner candy for him to leave me alone.
*Parker cries more than a typical baby, I have 2 of them.
*I wore maternity pants yesterday. Dirty laundry+fat mama=maternity pants. Who cares.
*Conner loves oreos and guess what, I let him eat them...sometimes for breakfast.
*I will go to bed with makeup on my face...and then that's my make up the next day. It's rare but sometimes it happens.
*I buy my kids something every.single.time we go to the store. Maybe it's jammies, maybe it's a toy.
*I joined WW and went over my points already. Mama needed some wine.

>new, new, new

>New things that are happening here...
*Parker has his first tooth. I discovered it at Wal-Mart on Monday when he was screaming to get out of his car seat.
*Conner is a chatterbox. He has new words every single day. He's hilarious and so much fun.
*Parker is tying to crawl. He can scoot backwards. Someone tell this kid to slow down.
*Our Christmas tree is up and I love it! It's so big and fat. I won't lie though...it isn't fully decorated. We ran out of ornaments and I haven't gotten anymore yet.
*Parker loves the jumperoo but not the exersaucer. He loves to roll and grab toys.
*Conner still loves tractors and he loves watching Swamp Loggers with Josh. Hilarious.
*I got new studio lights and I love them. Seriously, I'm thrilled over them.
*Josh and I are doing great; of course we still have moments but I'm so, so thankful for him. I don't know what I would do without him. My kids and I are so blessed to have him.
*I'm doing MUCH better on the celexa. I feel like my old self and am overall happier. I still have tough moments and down times but those are becoming few and far between.
*I haven't lost any more weight and it's frustrating. I joined weight watchers online and am joining the YMCA.
*Thanksgiving was ok, not great and not horrible.
*I'm so not ready for Christmas and I can't believe it's December! This year has flown by.

I'm going to try to get better at this blogging stuff again.

And for good measure a pic of each of my kids.
