>Conner has finally started repeating some animal sounds. He can tell you what a lion, snake, cow, owl and dog say. Well, he pants like a dog but that's because Harley doesn't bark. I've been trying to get it on video and I got it today. I "tricked" him though. I put the camera on the couch and he didn't know it was on. Maybe I'm getting a little smarter?! haha!

Conner has finally started repeating some animal sounds. He can tell you what a lion, snake, cow, owl and dog say. Well, he pants like a dog but that's because Harley doesn't bark. I've been trying to get it on video and I got it today. I "tricked" him though. I put the camera on the couch and he didn't know it was on. Maybe I'm getting a little smarter?! haha!

>I'm hot and tired and have been having contractions since about 3:30 this morning. They are only about once an hour but...it's enough to annoy me. This baby needs to stay put at least 2 more weeks. I will say that I am uncomfortable. My feet and legs hurt. My pubic bone hurts, my belly is sore. When I have the contractions, it hurts all the way around. I never had any form of back labor w/Conner but I think it's safe to say that I will this time...and I will get the epidural. I'm too tired not to get it. At least that way I can sleep through my labor (once I decide to go to the hospital). I certainly don't want to be confined to a hospital bed for 18+ hours like I was the first time around.

I typically don't like coke but it's hot; well, I'm not so coffee is out. It's quiet here; which is such a rare thing. Usually when Josh and Conner are both here and awake the TV is on and Conner is "talking" up a storm. The only noise the the noisy fan going.

I've been waking up a lot at night. Part of it is general discomfort and the other is that my son (who is waking up) is a bed hog. I wish he'd just sleep in his own bed. THAT would be nice.

Conner came with me, which isn't always ideal but he played with the little boy and they found sticks together. I guess it was kind of like a mini play date for both of them. We came home and he took a great nap! I like great nap days. After his nap, he just wanted to climb all over me and I'm not a jungle gym. I chose to clean and not sit down instead of being climbed all over. He is cutting another molar (I got bitten trying to prove this) so he's extra grumpy.

This morning started out great! I had a photo session. I honestly think I have the cutest clients! Conner came with me, which isn't always ideal but he played with the little boy and they found sticks together. I guess it was kind of like a mini play date for both of them. We came home and he took a great nap! I like great nap days. After his nap, he just wanted to climb all over me and I'm not a jungle gym. I chose to clean and not sit down instead of being climbed all over. He is cutting another molar (I got bitten trying to prove this) so he's extra grumpy.

>I had maternity pictures taken on Monday (that's not my confession). I will admit that I am the WORST person when it comes to waiting. The photographer sent me one picture...ONE. That's like taking Conner to a candy store and letting him get one taste of one candy. I'm dying here! I can not wait to see more. That said, I don't want to rush Victoria; I just want to see more. LOL

We had an OK day today. We went to Hobby Lobby and found a basket for the baby's room and I picked up some letters to paint. I want to put them on top of the dresser. The catch? They are too big and I have to take them back. I really want some larger blocks that have his name spelled out on it but I don't really want to have them custom made. I've checked around at prices and they are 8-10 per letter. His name has 6 letters in it...you do the math! Just for blocks! Not this mama. I'm going to google and see what I can find. Conner did nap today but only for just over an hour and he was a mess. It's 7:34 and he's already in bed (praying he sleeps) and I'm going to have to cook dinner. My goal is to put myself to bed by 9. I need it. Now, if he would just quit crying and go to sleep.
