>Random...

>I have to say goodbye to my laptop for a day or so. I hate it. I have to take it all the way to school (45m away) so that they can install some software that I will need for next year. I wish I could just wait until August, but I have a training on said software on the 14th. I will still have my PC, but it does not reach the couch. I really just don't want to drive all the way to school to drop it off, come home, wait for an email and then drive all the way back to pick it up. I asked the technician if he knew how much gas that would take. He said he did. I could tell he was irritated by me. Not that I really care.

Last night Josh read to the baby. YES, JOSH. He hates to read. This child loves this book that I have about Jonah. He kicks up a storm. Daddy read to him. He kicked a few times, but he had a quiet day yesterday. It was so cute to listen to him reading. I love that he did it b/c it's for his baby. Ordinarily he would never read anything.

I guess that Josh and I slept really good last night. I woke him up when the alarm went off. It's not my fault that we both went back to sleep and he left an hour late. oops. Thankfully, there isn't a lot going on at work right now.

The baby bedding should be here today. Isn't it hysterical that I have that, but no bed to put it in? I wanted to order the bedding first so that I could go ahead and paint the nursery. I can't wait for UPS to get here. That man in the brown suit will surely make my day!

I put on a maternity tank top today and for the first time, I can kind of see my belly. I was like, Wow, this is what these are supposed to look like. That's kind of cute.

I'm off to eat my fiber cereal (yum) and take back this laptop.

>nice and cool

>The air works. It's wonderful to have a/c again. What an exhausting day yesterday; not that I did a lot. I like being at home, but I'm definitely getting bored. I'm sitting here thinking about what I will do this week. I have NO clue. I don't really want to go shopping. I don't need anything. My heat rash is almost gone so I don't want to go to the pool and have it come back with a vengence. The only thing that I have to do today is go to the bank and make a grocery list. Maybe I'll do pilates. That's a sight, you should see that! Big belly, trying to stretch and do pilates. I amuse myself. I guess I need some form of entertainment. It's too hot to go for a walk, unless I get up at 6 and that's not very likely. I'm going to have a huge reality check when school starts again.

>Overnight!

>My belly definitely grew overnight. Josh and I were both amazed at how big it got. I think baby went through a growth spurt.

Josh is outside right now working on installing our new air conditioner. It's a good thing too, because that $200 POS window unit stopped working last night. I will be returning it today.

I got a lot accomplished in our basement between yesterday and today. The whole thing is cleaned out. Well, everything except for Nicholas' turtle. If I could just convince my MIL to come get it, I'd be happier. Now I just need my brother and husband to get that futon and filing cabinet out of the baby's room so I can finish in there.

I still have that damn heat rash. It is driving me absolutely crazy. There's no other way to describe it.

Proof that my belly grew overnight...

>changes all around...

>Not only is my baby kicking, but our air conditioner kicked it too. That's right, we have NO a/c right now. It's hot. We ordered a new unit and it should be here tomorrow or Monday. I bought a window unit b/c I can't stand the 80 degree house at night. It's just too hot.

Baby (he still does not have a name) has been kicking up a storm. Last night, I was reading and Josh was watching tv. He had his hand on my belly. Baby kicked a good one and we both looked at each other. His eyes were the size of half dollars! He was excited! It was definitely a cute moment. I was very excited to share that with him.

I ordered my bedding and it has shipped. I'm so excited and can't wait for it to get here. Funny bedding/MIL story. I mentioned that it was ordered and she was so offended that she didn't get to see it or pick it out. I think she just forgets that it's MY baby and not her baby. Yes, he is her grandchild, but he's MY baby. I told her that I loved it and that's what mattered, but if it meant that much to her, I'd email her a picture. She wanted me to and then told me that it was very cute. She has then shut up about it. I love that I figured out a way to shut her up.
This is what I chose.

We are going to order our furniture for our little guy in the next few weeks. We've narrowed it down to 2 or 3 and just need to make our final selections and then order it.

I've been keeping myself busy by going to the pool. It's really been great and I am definitely enjoying the relaxing moments. As soon as school starts back, I know those are over.
