The Fair *warning, pic heavy*

We have been doing what we can to keep busy this summer. We took the kids to the fair and to say they LOVED it would be a huge understatement. They loved the rides, the food, the little creek...all of it. It was HOT but oh so worth it. Conner is already asking to go to another one; good thing Fall is right around the corner and it will be fair season!

They have their tickets...

Fun on the rides...

Conner played in the creek while Parker took a nap

They both loved this cow.

Summertime!

We have had a SUPER busy summer. It started with out beach trip in May. In June, we had tons of people come into town, some of which we haven't seen since Josh and I got married! Everyone left about 2 weeks ago and last weekend, we celebrated Parker's birthday! How in the world is he 2?! That really went quickly. The kids have had a wonderful time thus far.

Some silly things they are doing...
*Parker LOVES soccer balls. He calls himself a soccer monster and kicks and plays. LOVE.
*Parker calls all crayons, markers, pens...draw somepins. he loves to draw.
*Conner...he loves everything. literally. I think his favorite thing right now is to do puzzles. We have a few and he adores them. He's graduated from the wooden ones to the floor ones.
*Conner knows how to swim and he LOVES it. We put up a 3ft pool in the backyard. he can reach the bottom and he would swim all day long.
*They both act like they are going to Disneyland when I tell them it's bath time.
*Parker has decided he doesn't like to sleep anymore. He's cutting out his nap and not going to bed until late.
*Parker says chocolate milk and it sounds like chacha mok. so cute.
*Conner uses the word, "actually" in context and to correct me often.

I need to start taking videos of them. They are too cute and are sooo silly...especially parker.

Beach Bums

We took off on a much needed family vacation last week. Our destination...Destin, FL. It was awesome. The weather was great, the kids LOVED the beach and the pool and we all got to spend some MUCH needed quality time together. The kids enjoyed hanging out and playing with their Daddy and they were worn out by the end of the day so Josh and I actually got to spend time with one another with no kids asking for this and that. We spent most of our time on the beach or at the pool. The kids loved digging holes and finding sand crabs. Conner wanted to catch and keep every sea critter he could find.

One afternoon, we went down to the harbor. Josh wanted more information on deep sea fishing. The kids got icees and helped a little girl feed some fish. She was sweet enough to share her bread. Another day we headed to the outdoor mall to play at the sprayground and playground. The last day (well, the day we checked out) we headed to PC to visit Gulf World. Conner was all pumped up. He could not wait to see alligators, snakes, sting rays and dolphins. It was super fun!

I want to get this posted so I'm going to do different posts for each place. I have lots of pictures to go through and this has been sitting as a draft for 2 days...

Summer is here!!

My kids are both such little water babies. They LOVE it. We are very blessed to have family members that own pools that we can use when ever we want. I LOVE the puddle jumpers b/c Conner can be more independent and I don't have to hold Parker as much. Win, win for everyone. They really love when their daddy is home and can play with them![gallery]

Outside, outside, outside, everybody outside...

ok, what's that song from?

The favorite at our house is to be outside. They love it and so do I. Some days it's the only way I get a minute of peace! These 2 LOVE each other but fight like crazy! They fight over everything...if Parker could steal Conner's shadow (and visa versa), he would!

The power wheels are still a huge hit around here...great investment, if you ask me.

We also got a new pet...check it out.

Shameful

I'm ashamed that this tiny blog (for me) has been dumped all over and forgotten about. well, I haven't really forgotten about it but everytime I sit down to type something up, one kid is naughty (C is in the friggin dog food now, really, he's THREE and knows better).

Since Feb...hmmmm....we've been busy. Conner had school twice a week, I started working out w/a trainer and have lost about 13 pounds. we play outside a lot. They both love to be outside. Josh has been working a LOT. Seriously, in the last 8 weeks, he has been home ONE saturday. It's a lot on me and by the time the boys to go bed at night, I want to fall over but I have work to do. Speaking of work, my business has boomed this year (thank you Jesus)! I'm so, so thankful and am loving every minute of it.

We had a great Easter! The kids loved the egg hunt and dying the eggs. There were about 50 people at my MIL's house. [gallery]

Other than the kids keeping me busy, we're just busy. Parker is talking a LOT. His vocabulary is very large and Conner is growing up soo quickly. They are getting way too big way too fast. Conner needs 4t shirts (that's HUGE!) and Park is already in 2t. It definitely makes this mama sad.

I'm going to try to be better about blogging again (I've said that before). it's really the only way I've documented what they have been doing and I need to get better at it again for ME. I know there are zero readers left and that's ok. :)

A Boy and His Tractor

It's no secret that Conner loves, loves, loves his tractor(s)! Santa Clause was great and brought him a farm tractor w/a trailer. He adores that thing. We were outside playing yesterday and I wanted to practice some back light. I asked him to sit on this one crack on the driveway. He parked his tractor and did THIS. All I did was LAUGH. I have a glimpse into his 16 year old self. LOVE this kid.

I don't do a lot of backlight because I don't really like the haze but it's my kid and he's funny...so I kept them.

365 project...week 4 and 5

I can't believe we are in February already and it's Tuesday and I'm just getting to this post. I am really, really enjoying my little project. I ordered 4x6 prints of all of these images to put into an album...ya know, just for us. It will be super fun to go back and look at all of these at the end of the year. I might have to write captions on the back to remember but that's ok. I want the memories.

I just realized that I am a week behind. ACK!!!

This is probably my favorite picture. The husband was on the couch watching football. Parker decided he wanted to lay and watch football too. 10 minutes later, they were both out!

I have nothing to say...I just love little feet.

Playing 'bingo' with Conner. We have a super why bingo game (it teacher letters) and he loves it! His little hands are also the only fat part left on him.

Getting "Stickered" up. love stickers.

Boys always have amazing lashes.

One of Parker's favorite things is a knuckle bump. Here he's waiting for Conner to give him a bump.

My kids were sick this week (bronchitis, gross) and I just wanted my baby to feel better.

Week four...As you saw, my kids had bronchitis. It was terrible. Really terrible. They coughed all the time, wanted me to hold them constantly and I'm only one mama! Thankfully after some antibiotics kicked in, they were back to their normal little selves.

Just happy to be outside.

Enjoying a little dinner.no words. love him. This child will do almost anything for some chocolate! He's a boy after my own heart. Breakfast and a belly button.Going for a little ride.

Bronchitis

yep, bronchitis. Both kids have it. It's awful. Conner literally laid around for 18hours or so. He's still not back to his normal energy level but he's getting there.

Parker never got as bad as Conner but he has wanted me to hold him more (oh how I wish I had a photo of that). Conner and I have been playing more games while Parker rests. He currently loves the Super Why Bingo. It's really fun and it teaches letters! score.

All I know is that 2 sick kids is tough on a mama! I hope I don't get it!
