>Over the weekend, Josh, my brother and another guy worked very hard to repaint the exterior of our home. Now that it is all done, Josh isn't sure he likes the shutters! He's crazy but he says he's finished now w/major projects here.

>Today is 25w. It's very hard to believe that there are 15 (short) weeks until my actual due date. Now, I know that a due date means nothing but still; it's an endpoint. Who knows when this baby boy (who doesn't have a name yet so please, don't ask) will actually make his grand entrance. He has been very busy lately. I get kicked by one of my kids all day long; literally.
Conner is in full temper tantrum mode and some days he will have 5 tantrums in an hour. He's so testy and really just wants to see what I will do and how I'll respond. He typically doesn't ever win; he's learning that. The weather has been great the past few days and that has helped with outside time. Last week it was 90 degrees and really, that's too hot for me to chase him around. I definitely prefer the 70-75 degrees that we have had over the past 3 or 4 days. Much better!
We've had a busy weekend already and I'll do a weekend news just for that.
Here's the 25w belly.

>Double Strollers
>I have been researching double strollers so much that my head spins. I do not want a junky one b/c I will be using it nearly daily and because Conner is so young, I will use the double for a while.
When I was searching for my single jogger, it was a no brainer. I had to have the Jeep one and let me say, if you need or want a single jogger (and have a budget) that jeep jogger is the way to go. I absolutely LOVE it. Seriously, I love that thing. Conner also prefered it to the other stroller. For doubles, there are just tons and tons of options...just like for singles.
I have been told that the ONLY way to go for a double is to get a BOB. Ok, for all you non-stroller snobs...the BOB=$$$$. BUT it's good for babies as young as 8 WEEKS (that's what the co says)! I LOVE that. Evidently (I have not seen for myself) the seats are independent of one another and one child can sit up, while the other lays down. The only thing I don't like...the ironman only comes in yellow. puke. haha
The next one I've been looking at is the Baby Jogger Double. It also has independent seating and the price is very much like the BOB. The manufacturer does not list an age on the usage though.
Number 3...The Bumbleride. I LOVE the way these look. The Bumbleride is suitable from infancy up. SCORE! They are also comprable in price to the other two listed. It is also not as wide as the other two I mentioned, also something I really love. I don't want a stroller that is so wide I can't steer it!
SO, what does all of this mean? I need to save some money to get a good double (anyone want to donate to my stroller fund?). I have been looking on Craig's List but it's really slim pickings. Thankfully I have time and I definitely want to have this before tiny man gets here. I don't want to tote two kids to pick one up. If I don't find one on CL I'll just order online.

>24 week appointment
>Today, I had my 24w appointment, which included another ultrasound. The purpose of that ultrasound...to make sure my fluid levels were up. They were! They almost doubled in 4 weeks. Baby boy was drinking water and I could see him sticking his tongue out. So funny. Right now, he's breech (bad baby) and was laying with his feet over his head. His heartrate was perfect and everythin else looked great too. I've gained a total of 12 pounds. The OB said for me not to worry about the cramps/contractions unless they become rhythmic. He told me to absolutely continue to walk exercise but NO running at all. I don't think that chasing Conner out of the street will count as running though.
Conner has a new favorite thing...Dora. Yes, Dora the Explorer. He wakes up asking for Dora. When he gets tired, he brings Josh or me the remote and says "dora" in this tiny sweet voice. He even says "boots". It's totally cute. I do get my fill of Dra though. It only comes on ONE time every day too. You know the DVR is set to record every Dora that is scheduled to come on. haha!
Conner has a new favorite thing...Dora. Yes, Dora the Explorer. He wakes up asking for Dora. When he gets tired, he brings Josh or me the remote and says "dora" in this tiny sweet voice. He even says "boots". It's totally cute. I do get my fill of Dra though. It only comes on ONE time every day too. You know the DVR is set to record every Dora that is scheduled to come on. haha!

>Weekend News
>What a busy, busy weekend! Saturday was filled with photoshoots! Conner hung out with Aunt Janice and Baby Ryleigh for my first one, joined me for my second shoot. This family was/is an old friend of Josh's and for my third, Josh met me there to entertain Conner. Needless to say, I was a tired mama Saturday night. Conner was a tired baby but he still slept like c.r.a.p!
Sunday was also super busy! We started the day by Conner getting his Easter basket. It was filled with balls, cars, fruit snacks, side-walk chalk and a t-ball set! He loves that thing. Guess where my camera was? In the bag! So, no pics of any of that. Sorry. We played outside and Josh did a little bit of yard work. After Conner's nap, we loaded up and went to my MIL's house. Can you believe that the Easter bunny goes there too? Who would have thought!?! Conner got a little wagon filled w/beach toys a mini pool and a Handy Manny tool box. He totally loved the little bucket and back toys but refused to get into the baby pool. He was quite happy just emptying it out! Unfortunately, I did not know what the bunny was going to bring and I was not prepared with swim wear. My MIL had a suit that she boght last summer. Baby speedos. Can I just tell you how stinkin cute these were?! They are basically a waterproof diaper. Thankfully it was 86 degrees. Conner had a great time with the water. He didn't care too much about the egg hunt until he realized that the eggs had starburst jelly beans in them! Then he only wanted to find the eggs that made noise!
Oh and somethig big...baby #2 has reached viability! 24w people!'
