>update to cramping

>Well, it's day 3 of cramping. I called the OB this morning and they decided that 3 days of cramping is not normal and I should go in. I'm actually sitting in my car writing this between appts (using the hospital's internet). My first appt was an internal exam. My cervix is closed, but he found no reason at all for cramping or the lower back pain and abdominal pressure that I have. He said that my urine was clear (I imagined it was considering I drank 150 oz of water yesterday). He is still concerned due to the duration of the cramps, so I have an ultrasound at 2 today; about 20 minutes from now. He said the ultrasound will determine if my cervix is funneling or shortening; which is not a good thing, but if it is, it's good we found it early rather than later.
I know my little guy is OK though. He is in there wiggling around. I hope that they find a reason for my abnormal cramps, I just don't want a scary reason. In my mind, if something isn't normal, there must be a reason for it? We will see.

I left the dr. office and got some lunch and went to bloomingdales. I picked up a few cute things for the baby. For some reason I just can't shop for myself right now. I'll post some pics when I get home.

>Cramping=Hell

>Yesterday, my day started out very normal. I slept in; but only because I was up every 3 hours. I ate breakfast and off Harley and I went for our walk. I was about a third of the way into my walk when I started getting some cramps. Of course, I immediately freaked out and went straight home. In 3 hours I had 68 oz of water. The cramping was still there. I emailed my OB and of course I never heard back from him. I decided that I'd just lay down. That worked until I got back up. All this time, I could feel the baby moving around and kicking. Around 5:30 or 6, I decided to just go ahead and call the on call doctor. A semi-nice person called me back within 15 minutes or so. She told me that I was to do nothing. Put my feet up and be sure to drink water. She also told me not to go on my walks for a few days. She really freaked me out when she told me that if the cramping got worse to go to Labor and Delivery. If I still have cramps today, to call the office and go in for a visit. I did as I was told. Low and behold, I STILL have cramps today. I woke up to some round ligament pain. That hurt. I just have dull cramping and I'm trying to decided whether or not I need to call the doc and go back in. I know what they'll do. They will pull out the doppler and listen, which is fine, but I can fell him moving.

I will eat breakfast and then decide. I hope today is not another day of cramp hell.

>Up 7 and 10?

>I had an OB appt today. My blood pressure was amazing, 106 over 75. That is MUCH better than it was for my big ultrasound. I guess I was just SO excited. I gained 4 pounds since my last visit. Grand total for weight gain is 7 pounds. I know it should be more, but honestly I eat. I stay active too, but I eat. I am one of those girls that loves food. I crave veggies though. I could eat them all day, every day. I never want fruit, but I have found a way to incorporate them into my diet. Yummy fruit smoothies. So far it's working. I'm going to just keep that up until I get bored with it. The doc said that the baby sounds great; heartbeat in the 150s. He's exactly where he should be and doc said there are no concerns at all. I like that news. I also got the registration information for the hospital. That sure makes it seem very real!

I decided that I'd finish all of Josh's work clothes today. I absoutely despise washing his work clothes. First of all, they are disgusting. There's no second of all, they are just gross. They are greasy and oily. I guess that's what happens to a diesel mechanic's clothes? Anyway, someone forgot some money in their pants. I like when that happens. Now I'm 10 dollars! Wahoo! Here's my loot!

>Weekend Recap

>Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Busy, but uneventful.

Friday night, Josh graciously made dinner. I was so very grateful and it was delicious! We're pretty boring so we just spent the rest of the night watching TV and deciding what we were going to do with the nursery.

Saturday, I took Harley out in the morning and saw that my roses were in bloom again. They look very pretty! I'm pretty proud of all of my flowers and plants. I finished painting the nursery and we were off to Home Depot to get the materials we need. I decided that I would just leave the current color; it's pretty now that there are no left over brown spots on the walls. We (well, Josh) are going to install a chair rail and I'm going to paint lighter blue stripes under it. I tried it out under the window and it looked great. It's also much cheaper to install a chair rail instead of waiscotting. We left Home Depot and had to go to Nathan and Ashley's to pick up Josh's saw. Once we got home, Josh decided that he was not in the mood to install a chair rail, so we went back to Nathan's for a cook out. It was great fun. Ashley's sister was there with her two little ones. They were playing in the baby pool. Needless to say, it was a late night and I'm still tired from it.

Today we went to Waffle House for breakfast. I always say that when I need to go to the bathroom, Waffle House will do the trick. For the record, it did. After breakfast we came home and Josh started painting all of the places I couldn't reach when I painted 3 weeks ago. It's all done now and I'm very happy. In the midst of the day, he got the great idea that we'd rearrange the furniture in the living room. The loveseat is now in the baby's room?! My brother is going to come and help Josh move it to the basement. It's rearranged and looks much better. We're going out to eat. Here are a few pics...and a new belly one..21ish weeks.

>New room pics...

>For all you picture whores out there...I got some better ones that actually show the color. Please don't mind the corners. I ran out of paint. We are going to leave it alone and just add some wainscotting (bead board) on the bottom.

I found a picture of what I'd like to do with the bottom. It's on rate my space. I love that site! Of course my bright blue will remain, but I like the bottom. Here is what we are going to do...unless I decide to repaint...God help me.
