That's been me all day. Conner has kept me on my tippy tippy toes today. The morning started out awesome! I got my run in, Parker napped, Conner ate...triple win for this mama! Then
the tornado Conner struck. I'll just give you the run down and then the ultimate funny story.
1. He took all of the diapers out of the plastic sleeve and threw them on the floor in the guest room. Why? He needed a bag for his tractors. As I was cleaning that up...
2. I hear a chair dragging across the kitchen floor. I yell for him to put the chair back. No response...uh oh, that's not good. I had to get the diapers cleaned up
b/c my little goat Parker was trying to eat them, I decide not to neatly do anything and just to throw them in the box. I know you're wondering what Conner was doing. Well, he was at the sink with 2 cups, one glass and he was filling them up with water. I have NO idea what his plans were but...I put him on the floor and took the chair away. He screamed.
3. He gets really quiet again...He was in the guest bathroom playing with...wait for it...self tanner and my makeup. oy.
4. I'm trying to get Parker down for his nap...Conner told me he needed to pee pee so I took him and then I walked out of the bathroom. He normally follows me but today is not a normal day. After I get Parker in his crib, I checked on Conner. He had gotten my dry shampoo out of the drawer in there (it's basically powder), unscrewed the lid and poured it not only in the drawer but all over the floor and his little potty. The best part...he had hair spray and he was spraying it into his hand and wiping his butt. I'm honestly, still laughing at that. I made him help me clean it up and explained to him what the spray stuff was. I got him cleaned up and now both kids are napping.
This mama might need some wine tonight!
It's more awesome than awful though so I'll take it.
