Catching up

This one is going to have to be long and wordy. It's been a minute or two since I've blogged and we've had a lot going on. Conner turned TWO. Who can believe it? We had his party at this little pumpkin patch. I am fairly certain that all of the kids had a great time. He got lots of new tractors, which made him a very happy little guy. He loved his cake but hated when everyone sang to him. He really liked opening his gifts. It was very cute. After discovering how many new tractors he got, he had to test them out in the dirt. It took Josh and I 15 minutes or so to convince him we needed to go home.

On his actual birthday, we made cupcakes. He loves to bake with me and it's not something I do often because then I am the one that eats all of it! He doesn't really care for the bread part of cake and cupcakes, it's the icing he loves. Who can blame him for that?!

The next day was Halloween! Conner and Josh carved pumpkins for the porch.

Of course I dressed my boys up and off we went. Parker wasn't too thrilled and cried so I brought him home but Conner...well once he figured out that he could knock on the door and someone would give him candy, it was "Thank you" city. After he would say thank you to people, they thought it was SO cute, and he got even MORE candy.

>Bath Time Fun

>Conner loves to take a bath. It's one of his favorite things to do. The past two nights, Josh has let him bathe in our big tub. Tonight, Josh decided that adding bubbles would be super fun...so we did it. Conner LOVED it.

>Dear Conner

>Dear Conner,
I can't believe you are TWO years old. I am in awe of you every single day. You are amazing, smart, sweet and determined. You challenge me in ways I never thought I could be challenged. You teach me things I never thought a little boy could teach an adult. You have shown me pure, unconditional love. In two years you have gone from our tiny little baby to a wonderful, sweet big brother. You are very proud of yourself and everyone that you love. You have a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. When you were born, I had no idea what I was going to do with you. I quickly learned that all you needed was love and I had that! I am very proud to be your mommy and I think God every day that he gave me you to love and cherish. Happy Birthday to my sweet, spirited, wonderful boy! I love you to the moon and back times 100.

>Two Year Pictures

>I have been trying and trying to get some decent photographs of Conner. It is certainly a challenge! Thanks to my friend, Victoria, I got some. She let me borrow her adorable pedal car fire truck. Conner has played with it before and he loves it. He does NOT love my camera and with in about 2 minutes, he was crying and telling me no. I'm just thankful that I got SOMEthing of the little booger. He's so lucky that he's so stinkin' cute.

I don't LOVE them but hey, he's looking in the right direction and not screaming!
