>I just can't...

>***Discliamer***If you don't want to read complaints, just close your browser.

I can't take much more. Conner has had a really, really bad week. He's been waking up around 5:45-6am every day. He has not been napping, therefore he's exhausted and he's very grumpy. Due to him not sleeping, guess who else isn't getting much relief in that dept? Yep, me. I'm also huge, achey and I have contractions every.single.day. I'm thankful that my mom is here so that I don't have to chase Conner but at this point in pregnancy, I think I'd be this tired even without having a 20 month old to chase. I honestly do not know how much more I can really take without exploding.

Everything is annoying me and I don't mean it's a small annoyance. For example, since my mom got here my MIL refuses to even CALL me. She will call Josh at work to see how I'm doing. How the hell would he know? He's not here. Then if she does call she wants to know if I need her to do anything, like today. Well, today, Josh is off. so NO, I don't but thanks. And she thinks that helping me is having me pack up Conner and all his crap to go to HER house. She refuses to come here. It makes my blood boil. She doesn't want to help me, she wants to convenience herself. She called Josh this morning to see if I had gone into labor b/c I wasn't feeling well last night. If she wants to talk to me, she should call me but she's like that so whatever. She says that she just can't share Conner w/my mom so she just stays away. Can you say huge BABY?! Gah, get over yourself MIL. You're childish.

Josh has been LESS than helpful lately. For example, Conner has been waking up super early...do you think he even attempts to get up w/Conner. Nope. I was up SO much last night w/contractions and discomfort. When Conner woke up at 6:30, Josh looked at me like "aren't you getting up" Gee, guy, Thanks. When it was very clear that Conner was ready for his nap, all Josh could do was talk about how tired he was. Really, go put the kid to bed...it's not rocket science...although today, I had to physically hold Conner down for him to go to sleep. It's exhausting for me.

I think I'm at the end of my rope. Pray for me.

>Bubbles, Tent s and Contractions

>Conner has decided that he now likes bubbles. I've been blowing bubbles for this child for a long time and I'm thrilled that he actually thinks they are fun now. I imagine that it's more enjoyable now because he can actually blow the bubbles. Even so, he still wouldn't smile for me. Haha! He's such a serious kid.

I took these pictures about 2 weeks ago (hanging my head in shame) and I just got around to uploading them.

I'd like to say that I have lots and lots of good, fun things to say today but I just don't. I have been having contractions a LOT lately but they are all just for "fun". I've tried walking to encourage more contractions but it seems to just backfire and then I don't have any. I guess the joke is always on me. At this point, everything hurts. Sleep is non-existent. Conner has been sleeping worse and worse (and I thought it couldn't get worse). His naps are virtually...well no naps. I wonder if he doesn't know that something is going on.

Conner has been in rare form for the past week and it's really taking it's toll on me (even though my mom is here and is so very helpful. Conner LOVES his Gigi. Who can blame him, she chases him (literally) all over the house all day long. She even bought him a cool tent. They had a picnic in it and he loves to hide in there. Once he thinks he's hidden, he says "go" (as in Where'd Conner go?). He's silly when he wants to be.

>July 4 Festivities

>Our 4th was pretty mellow. All of the festivities were done on Saturday..and Josh had to work (imagine that). My mom and I met Janice and Ryleigh for the parade. It was a really mild morning (thank God) and I was happy b/c there was no heat for me to endure. haha!! Conner was very excited about the dum dums that were being thrown and he even got a Popsicle. Needless to say, he was happy. After the parade, he got to look at the fire truck! Now, my boy is all boy and he LOVED the fire truck. He got to touch the knobs (he thought he could turn them) and he loved the big wheels on it. I'm going to have to make it a point to take him to a firehouse so he can really see the trucks.

>Full Term!

>I'm full term people, 37 weeks. P has been teasing me every day for the past week and a half or so. I will have very regular contractions but they might not meet all of the criteria that they should. For example, 4 minutes apart for 2 hours but the contractions are not a minute in length. It's not funny. It's annoying but I'm hopeful that they are at least doing something as far as cervical changes.

I got my pre-eclampsia panel results back and everything except my uric acid was normal. The uric acid levels were slightly elevated but not enough to be extremely alarming. SO, I'm going to just be monitored more closely. I'm not really sure what that means but that's what they said.

I did get my bag packed and the infant seat is in my car. The car is all cleaned out. All of the laundry is done, the tubs have been scrubbed. Today, I want to scrub the bathroom floors.

Josh says that he needs a few more days before I go into labor. I'm glad that he's still comfortable enough to wish a few more days (even a week) on me. I can not even move anymore. To go from sitting to standing is just flat out comical these days. By the end of the day, my belly feels so extremely heavy. It probably is.

I want to go for a run. Scratch that, I NEED to go for a run. I need to get rid of some stress. I need it. I can not wait to start exercising again. I know that the first time I go out, I will not be running but at least I'll be moving and sweating and I won't have contractions from it; I'll have 2 little ones in tow. To top it off, I can NOT wait to use my BOB. I'd say that I can go for little walks now but with the blood pressure stuff, I'm supposed to "take it easy". I'm just ready to have my skinny self back. I'm ready to be able to breathe. I told Josh that I'm sure I'll still be tired but at least my entire body won't ache like it does now and when I lay down to go to sleep, I'll be able to lay how I want and not how I'm "allowed" to lay.

Alright, I'll stop complaining! This is probably (more than likely) my last pregnancy and I should embrace the end of it, right?

37w belly.

>I'm wrong...

>I thought that Conner was going to start sleeping better. He had 2 nights where he sttn all night in his OWN bed and it was amazing. Josh and I actually had room to move a little bit and with this big ole belly, I need the room. I thought he was making a turn in the right direction. I was wrong. His crappy sleeping habits are back. I'm not enjoying them.

I thought that I'd be more uncomfortable. Instead, I'm more comfortable. Why? The baby has decided to move back up a little bit. SO, I was wrong, I'm not more uncomfortable; it's more bearable now.

I thought that at 36w I would be allowed to add more activity into my days. Due to all of these blood pressure problems, I've been put on modified bed rest and I do not like it. Once again, wrong. So, here I sit with this toddler (who can NOT for the life of him stay off of my feet) that think I'm his personal jungle gym. FYI, I'm not a jungle gym...even though Connner is convinced that I am. The rundown on the pressure situation is this...I had to do the 24hr urine test and had additional blood work drawn yesterday. They are checking for protein and creatine in the urine. The blood work will show if my kidney and liver functions are down. My BP was still elevated yesterday but not as badly as Wednesday. I'm expecting the results to come back normal. I should find out the results some time today.

It is raining today; Thank God! We need the rain so badly but Conner woke up on the wrong side of the bed and is completely grumpy and needy. What I need is to be able to take him outside and let him play. Hopefully when it clears up, it won't be hot. To top it off, Harley scratched up Conner's neck this morning and I just want to get rid of that damn dog.

I'm a little grumpy today but I had someone kicking me all night long and if I'm honest, I'm really, really sick of it. I'm tired of having Conner climb all over me 24 hours a day. It hurts my belly to have him climb all over me.

In other news (happier stuff), Conner has become an expert jumper. He loves to jump and it's the cutest most hilarious thing ever. He can fake yawn, fake laugh and fake cry. (note to self...get this on video) His language has started exploding and he's becoming quite bossy. If he wants you to kick a ball, he gives you the ball, tells you that it's a ball and then grabs your foot. hilarious. His favorite thing to say is "I want one". It's constant and I never know what it is that he wants at that particular moment. Sometimes he doesn't know either!
