>Weekend News

>We had a very big weekend here. Friday, my sister came back into town and brought her roomate, Bri with her. I had big plans for them. Bri LOVES to bake and decorate cupcakes, so that's what she did! She made all of the cupcakes and the huge one for Saturday. Wait, what did I need cupcakes for?! Saturday, we celebrated Conner's birthday! I know, I know we did it early but that's ok. He didn't mind. Saturday morning, my mom got here and I was running all over the place like a crazy person. Planning a party is not an easy task. Everything turned out great! Conner looked adorable in his sock monkey shirt, he loved all of his gifts but didn't really care about the cupcake. He cried when we sang Happy Birthday; I guess he didn't really like all of that attention.

Speaking of gifts, for a One year old, he got some great stuff. Josh and I got him a huge playground. He got some puzzles (which he LOVES) and an old timey top. He also got a power wheels, a slide (that we'll keep inside), a ball pit, a laugh and learn bear, some awesome blocks, a cool helicopter that has balls and his FAVORITE thing....MONEY. When he saw the money, he grabbed it and waved it around. It's as though he knows what it is! ha!

Sunday, we had another party! Kaiden turned 3 (well, her real birthday is Thursday) so Conner and I went to Catch air to celebrate. I didn't take any pictures from the party but Conner had a great time. He loves all of our playgroup friends. I do too.

Weekend News

>I missed it again.

>Today is Friday and i missed Thankful Thursday again. I want to laugh, but I know it's really not that funny.

Ok, here are my thankfuls.

*The deck and new roof on it. Josh, my FIL and one of the guys that works with them worked very hard for the past few days on our deck. It has a fresh coat of paint and a new (real) roof on it. Looks great!

*New cars. I'm getting an SUV. Don't know what kind but just that it's going to happen soon. YAY! I love my altima, but really it's too small.

*Sisters. Mine is always a big help when she's here.

*Mexican food. We went out last night and it was SO good. I wish we went out more often...

*good friends.

On another note, Conner's party is tomorrow and I'm freaking out. NOT READY. I'm not ready for my baby to be one. Sad but exciting.

Our weekend was pretty good. My sister came into town (and is still here but leaves today) and Conner loves when she is here. We really didn't do anything at all. Seriously, nothing. I'm trying to remember something wonderful that happened but just being together was wonderful. So much for exciting news! :)

>Outside Fun!

He can spend several hours going from toy to toy and never get bored. Now that we have a train, car, motorcycle, lawnmower and a different car, he really never gets bored. The train's seat opens so Conner can hide the leaves treasures he finds. He also likes to bring some of his treasures to me. He's a great sharer!
