>Fall is here!

>The air is starting to get crisp. The mornings and evenings are awesome. The temperatures during the day are practically perfect. I have a ton of fall decor but I can't get up in the attic to get it all down. I randomly left some of it out last year, although I don't know why. Thankfully, it's coming in handy this year. It's not a lot of decoration but I'm very happy that I have something seasonal to help the days go by a little faster. Right now I have some fall candles burning on the mantle. It smells so yummy in my house.

>bedrest won!

>I've been getting pretty bored lately so I needed a project to kill some time. With my shower coming up, I decided that I'd make some thank you cards for the hostesses. Hostess thank you cards turned into guest thank you cards. I think I made about 20 before I stopped. I think they turned out pretty cute. Now I just need to find envelopes for them :)

In other news, my doctor's appt on Monday was uneventful. Of course I am to stay on bedrest but she said that I don't have to be as strict. She still does not want me on my feet for long periods of time. I can deal with that. I have now gained 15 pouonds total. My blood pressure was a little elevated though. I have no clue why, it just was. She didn't seem too concerned about it. I go back in 2 weeks for my next visit. I'm wondering if I'll be able to go back to work. I finally am starting to fit into the maternity clothes that were too big. I guess my belly is officially taking over. If it's just the belly, then why is my butt bigger too? I'm hoping that it's just water weight. That would be a lot of water though. The baby moves all the time. I really love it...until he hurts me. I never knew such a little person could physically hurt someone else. I know he's just stretching in there though. Surely, he is running out of room at this point. Only about 6 more weeks...if he comes on time. We can't wait!

>Belly Dance

>Entertainment has changed since I've been on bedrest. Today, I finally got a shot of my belly dancing. It's not the best but it's what I could get. I'm going to keep trying to get a better one.

>Small update

>I had another appointment today. I have been seeing a new OB in the office and I really like her. She did an internal and my cervix is still closed and I've had no further progess with effacing, both good things. She asked me about my contractions and while I'm awake, I've been keeping up with them. I have been averaging about 20 per 14 hour period, so less than 2 an hour. She wants me to continue with the medication due to the fact that I'm not to term. Her goal is to get me there. I am to remain on bed rest for at least the next 2-3 weeks. She does not anticipate that I will be permitted to go back to work before the baby is born. She said that she does not want me in that environment and she definitely does not think I should be standing on my feet as much as I'd have to. She did tell me that I can do some seated arm exercises and leg lifts, but I have to stay seated. She does not want me on my feet at all. She said that I can go anywhere that I want as long as there is a wheel chair or scooter for me to sit in. All in all, it wasn't a bad appt. I go back next week. Until then, this baby is going to stay where he is and keep cooking!
