>Weekend Recap

>Our weekend was pretty uneventful. Busy, but uneventful.

Friday night, Josh graciously made dinner. I was so very grateful and it was delicious! We're pretty boring so we just spent the rest of the night watching TV and deciding what we were going to do with the nursery.

Saturday, I took Harley out in the morning and saw that my roses were in bloom again. They look very pretty! I'm pretty proud of all of my flowers and plants. I finished painting the nursery and we were off to Home Depot to get the materials we need. I decided that I would just leave the current color; it's pretty now that there are no left over brown spots on the walls. We (well, Josh) are going to install a chair rail and I'm going to paint lighter blue stripes under it. I tried it out under the window and it looked great. It's also much cheaper to install a chair rail instead of waiscotting. We left Home Depot and had to go to Nathan and Ashley's to pick up Josh's saw. Once we got home, Josh decided that he was not in the mood to install a chair rail, so we went back to Nathan's for a cook out. It was great fun. Ashley's sister was there with her two little ones. They were playing in the baby pool. Needless to say, it was a late night and I'm still tired from it.

Today we went to Waffle House for breakfast. I always say that when I need to go to the bathroom, Waffle House will do the trick. For the record, it did. After breakfast we came home and Josh started painting all of the places I couldn't reach when I painted 3 weeks ago. It's all done now and I'm very happy. In the midst of the day, he got the great idea that we'd rearrange the furniture in the living room. The loveseat is now in the baby's room?! My brother is going to come and help Josh move it to the basement. It's rearranged and looks much better. We're going out to eat. Here are a few pics...and a new belly one..21ish weeks.

>New room pics...

>For all you picture whores out there...I got some better ones that actually show the color. Please don't mind the corners. I ran out of paint. We are going to leave it alone and just add some wainscotting (bead board) on the bottom.

I found a picture of what I'd like to do with the bottom. It's on rate my space. I love that site! Of course my bright blue will remain, but I like the bottom. Here is what we are going to do...unless I decide to repaint...God help me.

>Random...

>I have to say goodbye to my laptop for a day or so. I hate it. I have to take it all the way to school (45m away) so that they can install some software that I will need for next year. I wish I could just wait until August, but I have a training on said software on the 14th. I will still have my PC, but it does not reach the couch. I really just don't want to drive all the way to school to drop it off, come home, wait for an email and then drive all the way back to pick it up. I asked the technician if he knew how much gas that would take. He said he did. I could tell he was irritated by me. Not that I really care.

Last night Josh read to the baby. YES, JOSH. He hates to read. This child loves this book that I have about Jonah. He kicks up a storm. Daddy read to him. He kicked a few times, but he had a quiet day yesterday. It was so cute to listen to him reading. I love that he did it b/c it's for his baby. Ordinarily he would never read anything.

I guess that Josh and I slept really good last night. I woke him up when the alarm went off. It's not my fault that we both went back to sleep and he left an hour late. oops. Thankfully, there isn't a lot going on at work right now.

The baby bedding should be here today. Isn't it hysterical that I have that, but no bed to put it in? I wanted to order the bedding first so that I could go ahead and paint the nursery. I can't wait for UPS to get here. That man in the brown suit will surely make my day!

I put on a maternity tank top today and for the first time, I can kind of see my belly. I was like, Wow, this is what these are supposed to look like. That's kind of cute.

I'm off to eat my fiber cereal (yum) and take back this laptop.

>nice and cool

>The air works. It's wonderful to have a/c again. What an exhausting day yesterday; not that I did a lot. I like being at home, but I'm definitely getting bored. I'm sitting here thinking about what I will do this week. I have NO clue. I don't really want to go shopping. I don't need anything. My heat rash is almost gone so I don't want to go to the pool and have it come back with a vengence. The only thing that I have to do today is go to the bank and make a grocery list. Maybe I'll do pilates. That's a sight, you should see that! Big belly, trying to stretch and do pilates. I amuse myself. I guess I need some form of entertainment. It's too hot to go for a walk, unless I get up at 6 and that's not very likely. I'm going to have a huge reality check when school starts again.
