>Stress

>What does stress do to you? It makes me EAT. Yes, you read that right. I get stressed out and I stuff my face and you know it's not with apples and carrots. I go straight for the oreos and doritos. Once upon a time, I ran. I'd have a bad day and a good run (you know the ones where it just hurts and there's sweat dripping and it feels oh so good) would make it all better. Fast forward...2 kids later and I eat. I never knew I was a stress eater until a few months ago. Both kids would be screaming and I would want to pull my hair out so...to the pantry I'd go. Now, if you have any tips at all for me, I'd LOVE to know what I can do to break this nasty pattern. I have also noticed that between 3-4, I munch. I have tried drinking water, chewing gum...nothing works. I have to get out of this funk though...please share your wisdom! I want to get back to the gym; I really do. I need a swift kick in the butt.

>Slow Down!

>My little Parkaroni is 5 months old! I have no idea how that happened!!

Here's what he's up to these days:
*Rocking on all fours! He wants to go sooo badly. I'm not ready for all of that. lol
*He has one bottom tooth and almost a second one. I'd better watch out, he might bite...ouch
*He is wearing 6-9mo clothing.
*He loves his jumpy.
*He wakes up kicking and smiling.
*He is infatuated with Conner and Harley
*He laughs...and I die. So cute.
*He is putting everything in his mouth...I'd better clean out the big one's toys
*He is becoming a craptastic sleeper...pray for me

Overall, he's much more awesome than awful. We just love him so much.

>Thankful Thursday

>It's Thursday, people! I know I don't always remember to to my Thankful Thursday but I'm really trying to be better.

Today I'm thankful for...

Josh coming home last night. We have "black ice" here. Let me explain...for those of you with regular ice and you northerners, you can just start laughing. We're not equipped, OK? Black ice is when the roads start to freeze and nothing else. It typically happens late in the day and is not visible. Josh left work and it took him FOUR hours to get home b/c of this ice. I have never been happier to see his big truck pulling into the driveway. It made me realize exactly how I could never live without him.

*Coffee and pumpkin spice creamer.

*A good shower.

*Friends that love me in spite of myself.

*Supportive family members

*Christmas lights...or Ho-Ho Lights as Conner calls them. They are just so pretty and I love them

*Online shopping. I don't have to "deal" with my screamer in the store and it still gets done. The best part is that it arrives right at my door.

*That new triamentic fever reducer/pain reliever stuff. It works SO much better than Tylenol for Parker. Those teeth might do me in.

*Our warm, cozy home.

*Days where Conner is such a little angel (like yesterday, he was SO good)

*The little 2 year old parrot we have here. He's so cute when he tries to repeat everything.

What are you thankful for?

>So What Wednesday

>

So what if Conner likes to watch TV. He's learning something and not touching me 24/7.

So what if I choose to drink my coffee, check my email and blog instead of working out. It really is my fault that I'm still fat.

So what that we joined the YMCA...guess who hasnt' gone yet? Whatever; it's cold here and who wants to take 2 kids out in this mess?

So what if I laothe cleaning the kitchen every night. After all day of picking up and doing it is the last thing I want to do. I dread it daily...sometimes I wait and do it the next morning. ps I hate cleaning it up in the morning too.

So what if I don't have any (well one) present for my kids for Christmas. We haven't even started shopping and honestly I do not want to.

So what if both kids wind up in our room at night...they are only little once.

>A decade...

>Today marks ten years ago that Josh and I started dating. I know, I know we haven't been married ten years so what's the big deal? It's a big deal to me. To the man that has made my world go round for the past ten years...there's no one else I'd rather share my years with. Here's to many, many, many more. love you.
