>First things first

>Every morning, I want my coffee. That's just how it is. I love the first sip out of a freshly brewed cup and quite frankly, I look forward to it. Conner, on the other hand, is not interested in coffee. He wants tractors and outside and sand. See for yourself.

>Hello Old Friend

>
I missed what these shoes.

Today, while Conner was asleep I ran. I put Parker in his bouncy seat and we went down to the basement. I dusted off that old treadmill, turned on some Britney (I'm not ashamed) and ran for 18 minutes. It was awesome. I wanted to run longer but parker was done and he started crying. I'm not complaining though. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to run that long. I have not gone for a run since Feb! It's the start of new things, people. Tomorrow, I will repeat this new naptime activity.

>Tractors=love

>See this tractor? It is the best thing EVER. Conner is very happy to play with this and other tractors.

We don't have an official sandbox (that is another post) yet but Conner wanted to play with his tractor so Josh put some top soil in the yard. He stayed busy (and quiet) for an HOUR! Yes, you read that right, an HOUR!

>turtle and the boy

>Friday, Josh found a turtle at his jobsite. It was not a water turtle but a mud one so he scoopped it up to bring home and show Conner.

Conner was not too sure of this creature. He wanted to hold it but quickly asked Josh to hold it.

After a few minutes, Conner warmed up to the turtle.

He showed the turtle his rake. He did not understand why the turtle retreated to his shell; although he got a kick out of that!

He even tried to get the turtle to play tractors with him.

He was very intrigued. I certainly enjoyed watching him discover something new.

We left the little turtle in the baby pool and when we went back out later, he was gone. I guess he "escaped".
