>Black and White Wednesday

>I'm linking up to The Long Road to China and am going to start participating in Black and White Wednesday. I take lots and lots of pictures of Conner so the picture part is not a problem; it's me taking the time to edit and pay attention to the photographs I take of him.

In this picture, he was completely enthralled with a bird.

Black and White Wednesday

I'm linking up to The Long Road to China and am going to start participating in Black and White Wednesday. I take lots and lots of pictures of Conner so the picture part is not a problem; it's me taking the time to edit and pay attention to the photographs I take of him.

>4am

>yes, that's what time I decided I was DONE trying to get this kid to go to sleep. He got up at midnight, only 3 hours after he went to sleep. Then an hour later he was UP. I tried snuggling with him, rocking him, even letting him scream. Nothing worked so after 3 hours, I decided I was finished. done. tired abut done with fighting so I brought him downstairs. Guess what the ONLY kid show on right now is...barney. I despise barney. He's annoying but at least educational. The best part...it's about building and has a whole segment on trucks; which Conner LOVES. I brewed some coffee and I'm thinking of making some muffins. I am hungry and if I'm up I might as well eat.

We are supposed to go shopping around 9 but I'm not so sure that will happen now. When he's ready for bed, I will too. Maybe we will got in the afternoon. Today will suck. he's going to be SO off and it takes a few days to get him back on track. I suppose it is what it is though.

In other news...we have a name now. I'm not telling until the room is done and I'm hoping to find some bigger size blocks to use in his room to display his name.

I'm off to pour my coffee and preheat the oven.

>Peanut Butter

>What can I say, he's my kid. This child loves peanut butter. If I give him peanut butter crackers, he licks the PB out of the middle and tells me more. The other night, he decided that he didn't want to eat (what's new) so I gave him the jar of JIF and some graham crackers. I told him he had to sit down on the kitchen floor. He didn't MOVE. It allowed me to cook dinner and he was not trying to climb up my leg, he didn't whine once and the best part is that he ATE the peanut butter! If that would work every day, I'd do it but I know the novelty of a jar of PB and some crackers would definitely wear off quickly.

>random, hornets and an update

>I hate every new layout that I put on here. It might be loopy for a while. I'm very indecisive about it right now. bear w/me.

Today, I had maternity pics taken. Things were going well and then Conner got stung by some hornets. The guilt that I have right now and the pit that I've had in my stomach are both SO huge. I know that there is NO way I could have ever known that there was a nest under the swing but it doesn't take away from the fact that it makes me feel like the absolute worst mom on the planet. I'm beyond thankful that he is OK and not allergic. The sting spots are already almost gone and I did not take photos to document this. It's not something I want to remember. It's something I want to press rewind on and leave out of his short little life. I guess it was a hard lesson learned...I will always carry benadryl in my car/diaper bag and I will check under swings, slides and any other thing that is still for a while before I let my child(ren) on them.

I went to the goodwill today because I want some wooden cars for the new baby's room as well as a cool chair that I can refinish to use for my photoshoots. I totally did not think I would find anything but I DID! I found a wooden train (only the engine) and a wooden fire truck. Neither are painted and I was THRILLED! I will definitely keep checking. I hope to find a car or two also. I promise that I'll take pics of the baby's room but only after it's finished. I still have things to get for in there. I need baskets, a changing pad cover, a glider and then I'll be done, I think. I still need diapers (anyone want to send me some, I'll give you my address).

Because I think every post needs a picture...doesn't he look angelic? ah, I love that kid...

>49 to go...

>49 DAYS until my due date. DAYS! That's crazy to me. Josh told me last night that I should probably start thinking about packing my bag and he's probably right. Now that I've done this once before I know that I can essentially throw in a dress some flip flops and my overnight essentials (shampoo, toothbrush, make-up) bag and I'm done. The hospital has everything I need. I don't know what I will bring home the baby in; maybe I can convince Josh to go to BRU w/me to pick something out. Conner didn't have a special outfit b/c he was so small; he just came home in a preemie outfit. I will bring one for this guy too. I still want to get C a "big brother" shirt but I'm just having a hard time ordering one. I don't know why I am so apprehensive about it but I just am. I was hesitant to order furniture, the room is far from done and now I'm having issues w/ordering a shirt?! Maybe b/c it makes it more real? I honestly don't know. I do know that I want to go and shop for some baskets this week. I ordered a really cute decal for above the baby's crib and it should be here Tuesday. I also want a sound machine and I need to get diapers. Sounds like I need to get on it.

I am having maternity pictures taken tomorrow morning. Conner will be in them; Josh will not but that's ok b/c I can have some mommy and me pics w/my boy. I'm looking forward to it!

Here's my belly at 33 weeks. Oh and let me add that I really think that this is our last baby and I'm glad that I've taken pictures every week.
