>Weekend News

>The weekend started out pretty boring. Josh worked on Saturday. I had a pretty important meeting (that once everything is final, I'll share) and it went well. I brought Conner with me to the mentioned meeting and he was great! Phew; I'm so thankful he's GOOD. Not a sleeper but such a GOOD baby. Saturday afternoon we were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch with Nathan, Ashley and Alaina but Nathan was on call and sure enough, he was called in. We went to Josh's parent's house instead. I'll spare you the uncomfortableness and just say that we went. We stopped at Taco Bell on the way home and we were home in time for Conner to go to bed by 8:30.

Yesterday, we went to the pumpkin patch. There is one 8 minutes from our house! Who knew?! Conner really did not like the pumpkins at first. Josh and I are not sure why but once Josh told him they were balls (good thinking!), he was all about the pumpkins. They had this really cool motor that they were using to make ice cream and Conner was so intrigued. I think he will be an engineer when he grows up, but not a computer engineer, a mechanical engineer. Once Nathan and his sweet little family showed up, we hopped on the hay ride to go up to the patch for some pictures. If you must know, we didn't go to pick a pumpkin, we went for the pictures! Ashley really wanted some family pictures so that's what we did! After we got home, Josh went for a ride on his bike and Conner napped. I spent some time going through the pictures. It's becoming my new favorite thing.

>Fun on the Farm

>Thursday, Conner and I went to Cagle's Dairy Farm with our playgroup. After the wait was over (we waited for an HOUR) we loaded up on the wagon and took the tour around the farm. We saw lots of cows and when the tour ended, we fed the goats and baby cows. Conner was giddy over the baby animals (and I didn't get ONE picture of that). We had a great time.

>Weekend News

>Our weekend was pretty uneventful...again. Friday night Josh brought home a ton of new plants. He brought home a weeping cherry tree, about 20 mums, some bushes (I don't know their name), about 6 knockout roses and some cypress grass (it's ornamental). Saturday morning, he got busy. He started putting the mums into the ground. he planted the roses and I helped him get the old cherry tree out of the ground to make a new home for the weeping cherry. Conner did great playing with the pots and eating the dirt. Of course he ate the dirt; that's what little boys do! When Conner took his morning nap, I cleaned everything inside and during his afternoon nap, I helped Josh clean the weeds and branches he pruned and then I went for a run. It was definitely weird running without the stroller and my little buddy but I went faster and it felt great. After we all got cleaned up, we went to Taco Mac for some food and to watch the GA game. They lost and it sucked.

Yesterday, it was so dreary. We literally didn't do anything. Josh fixed the lawn mower and cut the grass. Conner and I played in between his temper tantrums. He had a rough, grouchy day. The only thing we did was go to Wal-Mart. I love days like that.

>a day late...again. Thankful Thursday

>Photobucket

I'm really starting a bad habit. I need to pay attention next week so that I am not posting this a day late!

I am thankful for:

*Coffee.
*International Delight Coffee Creamer. They have flavors similar to starbucks (not the same) so it saves me a little $$
*Coupons. I'm all about saving some $$
*Fall. I love this weather. The windows have been open and the skies have been the bluest blue. Gorgeous weather!
*The park. Conner loves to go to the park. LOVES it. It is FREE and gives us something fun to do.
*playdates.

What are you thankful for?
