What did you do this weekend?
I ripped up our old deck and Josh and Rusty replaced it. While Josh and Rusty were working on the new part, Janice (my sister in law), Conner and I went to Target and grabbed a bite to eat from chick-fil-a. Love that place.
Here's the deck. Now we just have to paint it. I think we'll do that next weekend.

>Beach fun with the Playgroup and the Pool
>Yesterday our playgroup met at Lake Arrowhead for some fun in the sun. Conner really loved the sand; he said it tasted so good! He's such a ladies' man too. He even let me put his feet in the lake water!!!
Conner loves to play. He especially loves that silly old dog!
Today, we went to Ashley's pool to play with Sara. Last time we were there Conner did not like the "big" pool but today he was thrilled with it!! He splashed on the stairs and then he and I ran all over the pool. I'm so glad he is starting to like the water more. Maybe it won't be a long sunless summer after all!

>I was tagged by Shannon. Here are my 5 favorite things about Summer.
The Beach. Not only do I love vacations but the beach is my "Safe" place. I'm relaxed and rejuvenated when I'm there. I love the feel of the sand between my toes and the smell of the salt water. There is no better smell than that of the beach.
Fresh Cut Grass. I know it's a weird one. I love, love, love the smell of fresh cut grass. There's only one time per year that I can get that smell.
The pool. Ahhh, I love the pool. I love to swim and lay out. I love to jump off of the diving board and act like a 12 year old. I can still do back flips off of that thing. Kids are always very impressed with my "skills".
Mixed drinks...preferentially ones with a straw. These are great while sitting next to the pool or on the beach.
Bikinis. Now, normally I can't wait to get on my bikini and go out in the sun. This year though, my after baby body doesn't look so great in a bikini. I still love them though.

>Now, Conner has two bottom teeth and one top tooth. It is almost all the way popped through. I'm still waiting for the third bottom tooth to surface. Maybe once these teeth are in we'll get some sleep around here. I tried to get some pictures but he's such a wiggle worm and then they blurred. Here they are anyway though...
